I love singing ktv. Not that my voice is super good nor am i gunning to be the next Jun yang cos i always sing off key. Arghh~~
But anyway, i tink most ppl enjoy singing ktv, probably singing to the tunes of Jay Chou or wat Cyndi Wang. Here comes my problem. I dun really sing such songs. My fave songs are those oldies, thus explaining the title of my entry.
Here comes the must-sing songs whenever i go ktv. Han yu pin yin( direct translation)
1) Meng Xing Shi Fen( the moment when you just woke up from your dreams). Excellent song. I tink i master this song the best i tink i manage to sing without going off key.
2) Wu Nu( Dance Hostress) Hokkien song. Another wonderful song when i just can sing the chorus.
3) Sim Ai A Mai Kao( Dearest love, don't cry) Another hokkien song by Chen Lei. The tune is really good and quite easy to sing and emotional charged somemore.
4)Ai Wo De Ren He Wo Ai De Ren( The one who love me and the one whom i love). Another hit song from the early 90s. Quite easy to sing and the tune just stick with you the first time u sing it.
5) Wan Feng( Night Wind) by Sally Yeh. It's a damn old song and has those Shanghainese feel to the song. I love the tune. I must say Sally Yeh sang quite a few classic songs and she is a good singer.
6) Nuo Yan( Promise). Another early 90s song. Quite easy to sing and the tune is easy to remember
See, i am an old man in a young chap's body. Still living in the 80s and 90s.But the songs are good so heck it!

It has been a long time since i last blogged. Damn busy, especially with the examinations. Now that the exams are over, i am all ready to blog! Watch out, xiaxue and who evers!
Things that happened since my last entry:
1) Reached the threshold of 23 years old. wait, let me count, i have been on Earth for 8395 days on 20th March 2006. Scary thoughts but it's okay. At least i look young for a 23 year old chap.
2) Confirmed my Thailand trip!! Kian wee, chang , grace and kaijie...mark my words...i am going to buy back the whole Bangkok back this coming july. Unless there is going to be a war, otherwise i am going.
3) Annoucement of Progress Package aka Money drop from the sky. I try to refrain myself from talking politics and yahz, i got $900!! woo hoo, i intend to use the money to buy shares or learn driving. See, typical young Singaporean. Thinking of how to spend the money when it isn't here yet.
4) Visit of Queen Elizabeth II in Singapore. I wanted to catch a glimpse of her when she came to Singapore but i was busy studying! Damn!I mean you don't get to see a royal member in Singapore often. I really adore The Queen and i want to give her a bow and how much respect i have for her. Don't u think she looks so grandmotherly?? I dunno..i think i have a lot of love for royal family when we can see them waving their hands in their palace balcony while people waving the country flag. haha
5) Start and End of Exams. Within a span of 1 week. I went from some hope of doing well to absolutely no hope of doing well.
Okay, can't really think of anything else for now. I already have an idea of my next post. Keep tuned and do drop me a line if u have anything interesting for me to write on.
