The biggest news of the week to me is probably that Women Tennis Number 1 Justine Henin has quitted and retire.

To me, it came as a total surprise. I was just surprised that she decided to quit immediately, i thought she might continue for two more seasons or at least finish the current season as she already signalled the desire to quit in the near future.

But the reasons given by her is totally reasonable and understandable. It is not issue of burnout or something. She lost her desire to win. Which is true.

When you have won most of the titles, 8 Grand Slams and having money that can last you 3 lifetimes, she has nothing left to prove. She has proven that she can be the world's best, match up to the much taller and physically bigger Serena and Sharapova.

Motivation is actually gone when you don;t have anything to prove.

Justine Henin is probably not in the legend like Steffi Graff and Martina but she will be fondly remembered for her brave decision to quit on top of her game

Ok, i am unhappy. For no unapparent reason.

I am still grappling with the idea if i am feeling bored or feeling lonely.

According to Dictionary.com,

Bored is One that is wearingly dull, repetitive, or tedious

Lonely is destitute of sympathetic or friendly companionship, intercourse, support

Ok, i am not very in need of any sort of intercourse.

Aiyah, i dunno what i need or want lahz.

On a side note, i always think that i am a strong person despite the fact that i cry easily. I put that down as i have very well developed pairs of tear duct.

I still think that i am a strong and independent person. I can handle almost any 'par sa' singlehandedly. This i am very sure of myself. Be it being stranded alone in a foreign land or being chased by racist foreigners.

Somehow, i feel better with that thought on my head.

Maybe i am lonely or maybe i am bored. Or just maybe i am sleepy, tired and PMS and monday blues all wrapped into one.

I will wear something nice to work tomorrow. At least i will feel happy :)

Painted the town red with my buds on 30th Apr. We dun need any reasons to paint the town red but i came out with several excuses to assuage my guilt.

1) Shi Chang's Birthday on 1 May! (This is the real reason,i can swear)

2) In Celebration of Labour Day ( we are good workers, letting our hair down for a night, yay right!)

3) Celebrate the fact that Ah Gong has put $200 into our account ( money dropped from the sky again!)

The ever committed Keet brought his camera so we can all cam whore for the night. I am always dead jealous when people take lotsa of pictures when they are out with friends.

Posing for a pre club shot. Please give your hands to the Yeeka. For becoming GT with his handbag in the arms look.

Ok, no comments..next!

Sorry, the bday boy's face got cut away. Anyway, the picture was taken when we first arrived ar Butter Factory, before the drinks came.

This is how we looked 30 mins later. 3/4 of the Chivas happily in our stomach.

Ok..The three super models for LTA.
Apparently, we didn't enjoy Butter Factory as much as we did in Lunar. Oh, i really suggest we stick to Lunar. It is a natural progression from Zouk.
