Just came back from meetin up with Joel, my army buddy.

It was a great respite from all the finger pointing.

I feel great spending my Xmas evening with him because it is nice seeing him after 6 months. As i was window shopping with Joel, i wondered how come both of us can be the best friends. Both of us are come from two entirely different world.

He stays in a landed property while i am the typical HDB kid
He has always been in a reputable school, Chinese High>> RJC, whilst i attended neighbourhood school

He is more English educated than i am

The only common thing that we share is actually our passion for tennis. Often we would indulge in discussion about which tennis player cannot make it or quite zai.

Weird that we actually could become the best buddies in the army. We just went for dinner followed by some games in the arcade. Of course, we played Virtua Tennis 3! I would book seats for him or to tell him which arcade has the tennis games.

If not for the army, our paths would never cross. It is nice to have a friend whom i know who share similarities yet so different. I miss the days where we would lying on the bed and singing songs, or just to talk cock.

I am missing my army days!

Totally drained today

Major learning point of the day: "I shall not be late ever again!"

It's time to kick this habit of mine. I learnt my lesson the hard way today. I was supposed to go to 2 places today: NTU in the morning and Tanglin in the afternoon for my interview. I was running late for both places and i had to resort to taking a cab which did not go down well with my pockets.

Thus i decided to kick this bad habit of mine.

Anyway, the interview was quite an eye opener in some sense. I was still quite hesistent of going as i kind know the job isn't my cup of tea. Am i glad that i went. The assessment center was actually consist of 2 rounds of activities, 1 of which was kinda of playing. I was well aware what they are looking out for but still it was something i never tried before.

All ended around 5 plus. And with the new friends made from the interview session, we actually went Orchard for a brief shopping! Amazing!

What's more amazing is i went into CK and came out with a bag in 10 minutes. Never tried buying something (branded somemore) in a whirlwind speed. But it's cheap so i couldn't resist myself

And it's the 2nd time i went shopping on my interview day. Darn!

Perhaps interview is an evil thing after all!

Arghhh!!

Ren Cai Liang Kong

That has been my MSN nick for the past few days. No worries, my friends, i didn't get raped or kidnapped by any baddies. I shall explain why the statement.

For one, i have no money. It all boils down to no job offers as of now. If i have any job offers, i would have gone more easy with my wallet.

Why Ren? Yes, no honey lor. I wouldn't have been so emotionally unstable if i have someone to kao bei or complain to when i dun have a job/no money. When i am Ren Cai Liang Kong, it shows i am such a loser.

Pui!

Major Learning Point: It's ok not to have a relationship, but at least must have money. When u dun have both, you can describe yourself as Ren Cai Liang Kong.

It's been 1 week since i finished my exams...time seems to be flying when i am enjoying myself. Basically i was just watching tv and shoppping the whole week.

I was supposed to have interviews yesterday. 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. So i had some time in between. Guess what? I actually went into Topman and bought a tee. Best

Seriously, this holiday is the best time to get a job, an internship whatever. But i just feel soo lazy but i need the money for my europe trip. When will i get to see my Queen of England??

Anyway the more i go shopping, the more i wish i print money for a living! Ka Ching!

Ok, i am officially feeling emotionally unstable. Because the blogs of my accountancy friends are all shouting:" I got job offer(s) from Big 4!! Yeahz!" but i am still sitting at home shaking my legs. Ok this is sour grapes, i must admit. I got NOTHING! AND I AM VERY UMEMPLOYED!

Damn it! haha...so i have decided to start thinking of jobs which my accountancy friends will not consider doing.

1) Porn Star. This is my teenage hood dream actually. No male porn star export from Singapore to the international porn industry yet. I hope i can one day make it to the Singapore Book of Record : First Singapore male porn star: Mun Keet. So cool. What other job can let you enjoy while earning money. This must be it.

Possibility: 5 ticks!

2) Professional Getai Singer. My passion for hokkien songs and immensing in the glitz and glamour of the getai scene is well known. Who cares about joining my accountancy friends to find the $1.05 invoice when i can get to sing Wu Nu for a living! And i think i get to travel too! To JB some villages to sing getai.

Possibility: 4 ticks!

3) Professional Complain Lodger. I think i have a flair for complaining aka Kao Bei. From people's hair, the TV advertisements to the people's name, entrust me to find fault or to make fun of. Can make a career out of it

Possibility: 3 ticks!

4) Professional Househusband. Another fantasy of mine. To stay at home to clean windows, bring kids to kindergarten and go to market everyday to buy the freshest food for my family! Such a joy to see my kid playing happily in classes while i stayed out the class to chat with the aunties or other modern househusbands like me about our kids!

Possibility: 4 ticks!

Now i am like my accountancy friends. They are deciding on which Big 4 to go to, i have offers too! "I got offer to be a Porn Star, Getai Singer, Complaint Lodger, Househusband!" Which offer should i accept?? Such a tough choice

Actually can be a full time househusband, part time porn star and getai singer and making complains all rolled into one!
