When keetzai says u stick to your hairdresser/barber, you better do so.

Last saturday, i went for a haircut because my hair was getting longer than usual and i would like to think that i look better in short name.

For my haircut, i usually go to one in town. Note that i am extremely unwillingly to put down the exact name and location because i am wary that the shop would become darn famous and as a result hike the price.

Anyway, the saloon that i usually patronise cost only $20 that comes with a wash as usual. So i think it is a pretty good deal and i am pretty happy with the service that they provide me with.

But last weekend, due to time constraint and partly my lazy bones acting up, i decided to just settle for a small saloon just below where i stay. I had this statement on my head when i made my decision.

"Any saloon doesn't make much difference, right, especially i am a guy. Very easy. Just cut short.'

I was proven so wrong.

I opted for a cut and wash (the usual). So this shampoo girl washed my hair immediately with me sitting on my hair and a small towel around my neck. So the foam flew as she scrubbed my hair. I even saw a huge ball of foam landed on my shirt. Yes, i scolded " WTF!" inside my head.

Because the place is so small, as small as my office but actually sits 6 customers at any one time plus two shampooing seats. To sum it up, the place is crampy. The butt of the hairdresser serving the customer opposite me always threatened to hit my head.

The actual haircut was okay, seriously there isn't too much you can meddle with a guy's hair.

The cost? $23.90. $3.90 more than i usually pay and i get this!

So i think i really deserve something better. U know what?

At least the one that i usually go to, i can flip those hairstylist book and point point to them and tell them. " I want this stylo hairstyle!". Although 90% of the time, i wonder how come the model looks so good in that hairstyle whereas it doesn't look half as impressive when i sport that hairdo.

On a sidenote altogether, i always wonder how come people can be so good friends with their hairdresser. It is always on my mind when i visit a saloon when someone beside me was chatting away with her hairdresser.

For me, i just want that hairdresser to do a good job of cutting my hair. I can chit chat a bit here and there like my name and age. I dunno why people can talk about their mother-in-law, maids with the hairdresser. Seriously i dun fancy sharing my information with someone as distanced as a hairdresser.
